Hi there!
We're a community of vets helping vets. If you know of a resource or information you think might help a fellow vet Drop us a line
What is ABQVets?
ABQVets is a resource bridge for veterans and their families in Albuquerque. We gather information from a wide range of support networks and turn it into one clear, friendly path to the help you have earned.
Here is the reality: a lot of good veteran organizations exist, but many are hard to discover. Some have limited websites, some rely on word-of-mouth, and some are spread across different agency pages that are difficult to navigate when you are already juggling work, family, appointments, and life.
ABQVets helps simplify that. We pull together benefit programs, local nonprofits, crisis support, education links, housing and employment pathways, and community opportunities into one place that is easier to search, easier to trust, and easier to use.
The goal is straightforward: less time digging through dead links, more time getting results. We are not here to replace the organizations doing the work. We are here to make sure veterans can actually find them.
What ABQVets Helps You Do
- Discover benefits and support programs without digging through dozens of sites.
- Find trusted local and regional organizations that are often under-publicized.
- Get a faster starting point for housing, employment, health, and family resources.
- See practical links and pathways in one place, so next steps are clear.
How We Keep It Useful
- We aggregate from a broad list of public, nonprofit, and community sources.
- We focus on readability first: plain language, direct links, and no clutter.
- We design for mobile because help should be available wherever you are.
- We keep the tone human, respectful, and a little light because that matters too.
ABQVets is built on a simple idea: veterans should not need a detective board and red string just to find support. If a resource exists, it should be visible, understandable, and one click away.
