RRTP Aftercare Group

with Dr. Sowmya Yeturo

Congratulations on completing the RRTP Program!

Now your journey begins and the Aftercare Group is here to help!

You Made It. No, Really — That Was the Hard Part

First, let’s pause and give credit where it’s due: you showed up, did the work, and came out on the other side. That’s no small thing. Transitioning out of RRTP is a big deal — kind of like graduating from emotional boot camp. We see you. Now, let’s figure out what comes after survival.

We Hold Your Hand (Without Making It Weird)

Life outside of RRTP can be a bit overwhelming. "Adulting" isn't all it's cracked up to be... Job interviews, housing, applying for benefits, grocery stores with 67 different types of almond milk - it's a lot. Aftercare is here. When RRTP pushes you out the door, we walk you home (hand-holding optional). Aftercare is your post-RRTP GPS: Directions to apply for benefits? Done. Need to get set up with some outpatient treatment options? Done. Simply want a friendly group to help you cope with a tough week? We got you.

From “What Now?” to “I Got This.”

This isn’t the end — it’s a new chapter. You’ve already done something powerful by committing to recovery. Now, you’re doing something even braver: stepping into the unknown and daring to build a better life. We’re not promising perfection. But we are promising real support, bad jokes, high-fives (virtual or otherwise), and people who care. So welcome to Next Step Forward. It’s not always easy — but it’s always worth it. And you don’t have to go it alone.

Group Support (AKA Your New Besties)

You’re not doing this alone — and you’re definitely not the only one wondering what to do next. Our group sessions are built around real talk, mutual support, and shared experience — minus the pushups. Expect: Laughter, honesty, and people who get it. Weekly check-ins where ghosting is discouraged, but bad jokes are welcome A space to vent, connect, grow, and say “same” a lot. So buckle up! — emotionally speaking.

She's pretty cool, too.
